First p.sub experience

Hey guys, I have just made my first mushroom tea for my first experience with psilocybin subaeruginosa I gathered the mushrooms last weekend and dried them with a fan for a couple of days I have measured out 1.5 grams which I believe is enough to get me to level 3 I chopped the p.subs up finely and boiled with water for 10 minutes then added 2 teabags and consumed the whole lot after straining the tea bags It has been an hour and a half and I am still feeling nothing Just wondering if anyone has experience with p.subs and whether this dose was enough or it I can redose ? You should definitely be able to feel 1.5 grams of P. subaeruginosa. Were they cracker dry? Did you drink the tea on an empty stomach? Are you on any sort of medication?
You're also sure that the mushrooms were correctly identified?

I was wondering the same thing I am thinking they are not fully dried, it was my first time drying them and I mustn't have let them get completely cracker dry Also I did have a meal in the morning does having food in my stomach have a drastic difference ? Cheers for the reply

I think it's because you boiled them for 10 minutes... To my knowledge that is plenty enough time to destroy most if not all the active alkaloids in the mushrooms. (I could be wrong though)
When I make mushroom tea, I powder the cracker dry shrooms in a coffee grinder, boil the kettle then wait 5 minutes or so, pour the hot water and a bit of lemon juice over the shroom powder in a french press/plunger coffee maker, steep for 15 minutes, plunge and enjoy a cup of tea. Should feel effects within 10 minutes or so and peak within 45 mins.

Sorry I brought the water to a boil then simmered with the shrooms for the ten minutes it still must have been too long due to it has been 3 hours since the initial tea, cheers for the tips on consuming them I will be sure to try it that way next time. Any recommendations on whether I should wait till next weekend or will my tolerance to them not be affected ?

Ahhh okay, yeah that might still be enough to have damaged them. I'm not totally sure though.
assuming that is the case, due to the the alkaloids being destroyed, I would say your tolerance would be negligible if affected at all.

Awesome, I went for a hunt this morning with my wife and dogs and came across quite a few more and have set them out to dry I have also put the shrooms I have previously collected back out to get them completely cracker dry I'll probably try it again next weekend and use your technique and see if I have more success
