hi all, long time lurker first time poster, well i noc these jars up about 2-3 days ago and than and than this thing started showing, i believes they are contaminates because i have read that mycelium doesn't grow that fast, the spores used were australian, ksss, and cambo psilocybe (only used one strain per jar like the pf tek said). it looks like it might be early stages of cobweb, but I'm not certain. Also how fast does cobweb colonize? Thank you in advance! http://imgur.com/a/BsuWj

we prefer that you upload your images to the shroomery. there is a link to pics up on the top left of the page where you can upload pics.
2-3 days is pretty fast for that amount of growth. however, it doesn't look necessarily bad. all you can really do is just wait a for more days then you will know for sure. keep us posted and we'll let you know how it looks.

It's not cobweb, it actually looks sort of healthy but that is a really fast germination time for spores. It does look a little bit solid white compared to what I'd expect at that stage but, time will tell.

I see black spots in the top center of the growth on some of those pics.

Looks iffy at best but its still a really good chance you will get mushrooms. Thats the point of pf tek.

i believe thats a burnt substrate or a clump of spore, the size hasn't changed since it was there

That is radical growth for 2-3 days with spores....are you sure it was spores and not a different liquid inoculant?
Last time I did PF tek this is what I had eight days post inoculation:

Day 0 and day 1's Jars are showing super positive results. The colonies in those batches are approaching quarter (US currency) size, and is looking nicely risomorphic.
Mycelium is appearing in Day 2 and 3's jars, but I have a strange feeling about those jars for some reason like some of them won't make it.
Here are some pictures of Day 0's jars:

Keep us posted, because I agree with Inocuole here....it looks...almost healthy

I was thinking that it was a clump of spores by the area it was at inoculation wise. Seems to be the center of the growth point. Did you shake the syringe good? Either way that might explain the aggressive mycelium growth.

Yeah burnt substrate isn't something that happens in PF jars unless you really fuck up bad.

im positive it was a spore syringe, do you think that the gypsum might have something to do with the speed?

it may have been your spores germinated, making your spore syringe an lc syringe. that would certainly explain the speed of growth.
