Was wondering if anyone could ID these for me... I know they might not be what I'm looking for, but really just wanna get an idea of what grows in my area.
Thanks for any help!

Uhm, well, for starters, I'm going to guess that that 1st/leftmost white one is possibly something deadly poisonous.

Good to know lol! Any other info? I was originally hoping that the goldish ones might be cubes, but now I'm thinking not so much

I dunno (I'm not a TI), but they don't look like cubes to me; where did you find them (environment/substrate I mean?). If I had to take a (very) wild guess, maybe some kind of agaricus?
I certainly don't think you have anything active, at any rate. If that is what you are looking for, then research/learn to identify these:
North Carolina Copelandia cyanescens Gymnopilus aeruginosus Gymnopilus junonius Gymnopilus luteofolius Inocybe corydalina Panaeolus cinctulus Psilocybe cubensis Psilocybe caerulipes (As well as Amanita muscaria, although those do not contain psilocybin, and are a very different kind of thing, and not to everyone's liking either).
(I'm also in NC, just btws. )

We went hiking along a trail near my house, just to see what we could find. Been scoping out a bunch of cow and horse fields too, just haven't ventured onto them yet.

None of those species are active. Some are likely toxic. A TI can give.you the exact species, but I suspect you're just wanting to know if they're actives, and that we can tell you.....no. Keep at it, hunt the cow fields, most of the other actives in your state's list aren't worth the effort, imo, try for cubes. Good luck.

Yeah, that pure white one (far-right first picture, far-left others) looks like it could possibly be something akin to the deadly Amanita ocreata, a.k.a. the "destroying angel." Definitely do not eat that one. I mean, don't eat any of the mushrooms, but especially don't eat that one.

I don't think it's ocreata, specifically, but it's probably something just as poisonous. Toss it immediately & safely (i.e. make sure pets or kids or something aren't going to find it later and accidentally eat it).

Yeah, I think you must be right. I looked at the distribution map of A. ocreata after posting, and OP's mushroom is clearly out of bounds. But yeah, it's definitely something nasty.

I see Amanita bisporigera, Laccaria laccata and a maybe Gymnopus..the rest are kind of hard to see. Nothing active here. The Amanita is deadly.
