13 days into fruiting and no fruits

I'm growing PE and I put my monotub into fruiting 13 days ago. From the looks of it, it all looks healthy. I was just expecting to see pins by now. The casing layer was also added 13 days ago, and it's mostly covered with mycelium growth. Shouldn't I see pins by now, or just wait it out?

PE takes a long ass time to fruit. I never see pins before day 14 when I fruit right after spawning. If you are taping the holes for colonization, it can take longer than that.

I currently have poly in the holes. And hopefully I start seeing pins in the next couple days

did you have poly in the holes when you spawned? That is what "fruiting at spawning" means. Fruiting at spawning will shave of a couple of days in waiting, possibly even more sometimes.

When I spawned to bulk there were no holes, I let it colonize for 10 days. Then I made holes, put poly in the holes, and there is a 6500k LED strip on the bottom of the lid

Yeah, that might take even longer than 14 days then. Can't tell for sure of course, some get pins around day 10. I just never got them before 14days myself.
Do you see any knots?

while its hard for me to tell from the picture, do you see how your mycelium seems like its pulling upward towards the ceiling? this is a sign of low FAE. they are reaching for air, and im sure this can stall growth slightly as well as far as fruiting time.

So would you suggest pulling some more poly out the holes? Every few days I've been pulling a little bit of poly out of the holes as it is

id say leave it as is and wait for some pins to start popping up (:

I dont know for sure but that looks stalled and dry from the pic. If you don't see any growth or changes over the next week I would start over.
Forgot to ask.. Did you do a top layer at spawn or case at fruiting? That can be a huge factor for time frames of full colonization.

I cased at fruiting, this is what it looked like before casing. And yes I made the mistake of layering my substrate and the top layer being the spawn

It might pull through, but I've had monos stall on me and look like that. Especially after seeing your precased sub. That many grains on top look dried out from exposure and are uncolonized, so thats most likely the reason. Even casing it wouldn't rehydrate those top grains or colonize because they most likely have contams by the time that you fruited it.

Yeah I know, I'm waiting it out. I recently grew a dubtub which was much quicker then this. I'm just hopeful that these fruits will be bigger meatier and potent

Just checked today and I see at least a handful of pins, took 18 days but it's pinning nonetheless. So that's pretty encouraging.
