Got 3 votes for the EU referendum - should I use all of them?

Hey the EU referendum in the UK is today and I have 3 votes....mine and both my parents (they are away and have given me their vote via proxy.)
Here's the problem. I want to vote leave and they both want to vote remain.
I seriously think that leaving is the best option for the UK so I no motivation to vote twice for remain and once for leave. It's the same as me going out to vote remain.
I was thinking about voting leave 3 times... my parents would probably be pissed but hey. What do you reckon?

Tell them to give them to someone else to vote or them, can you do that there? Id be way too tempted to use them all to vote "leave" if I had them.

How about voting for your parents the way they ask you to vote for them?
-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

If you think that the difference of two votes is worth betraying the trust of two people who have sacrificed for you for years, then have at it

p much what you're saying is that you're unsure if you're able to stick to your parents wishes cause you disagree.
I hope some of your other family members are in charge of their will and/or do no resuscitate orders.

That's another good way to look at it. There's an extremely minuscule chance that 2 votes would make a difference. But then you could also say that it's out of concern for his parents too if he really thinks it would make a difference. I've lied to my parents to help them before
But this is why I suggested he find out if he can just give the responsibility to someone else his parents trust, if he's even able, because I wouldn't want to be the one to make that vote if I were him either.

He's already accepted the responsibility, though. If he didn't want to do it, he could have just said no.
And lying to your parents to help them assumes that you know best. You most likely don't. Maybe your parents are no longer mentally competent or something, but if not, you have zero business usurping their volition by lying to them "for their own good."
Maybe you should consider the fact that your parents sometimes disagree with you because they have life experience that has taught them things that you don't yet know.

Yes, but maybe you should also consider the fact that you have no idea what I have actually lied about as well I'm talking about in the past anyway, by the way. I haven't lied to my parents since I was a teenager.
You're right, he did accept the responsibility, but there's also such a thing as "changing your mind" too. This leaves him 2 choices, either make the vote he doesn't want to be responsible for, or decide not to be the one that votes on their behalf.

It's okay to change your mind, but if you accepted a responsibility, changing your mind when it's too late to find someone else to do it is pretty low.

it's late now and all, but I think it's pretty despicable that you would accept to take their votes and vote as they wish and then consider voting as you wish.
They have as much right to their voice, whether you agree with it or not.
