Not sure about this spot. Seems to be healing though, also is this a peruvian torch?

No need to cut or anything.

It's a San Pedro, Trichocereus pachanoi. Looks like what we call PC Pachanoi. Google can fill you in on what that's about if you're interested.

The Black spot looks like an old localised rot area that is now healing. Looks to be on last seasons growth. It should be fine and not need cutting. It will leave a tan coloured scar though.

It was labeled "peruvian torch" and I got it at a lowes or home depot(can't remember). It does have a bluish tint to it. Is it not active? I have harvested 30g dry of skins so far. I should just order some seeds, got some bridgesii seeds already. Can't fucking find them!

Still active, but I believe PC's tend to be less so. Your bridgesii will give you all the activity though for sure

Took about 4 feet to get the 30g dry skins. I might just try the 30 and see what happens.
