Nepenthes flowering

My nepenthes has some rusty-looking spots, which always comes during fall and winter. It must be some fungal infection, but I'm wary of using fungicides with this picky plant. The spots usually vanish in summer anyway - at least, they aren't seen on new growth.
However, this beauty seems happy! Apparently, this year I'm going to be greeted by the first flowers ever!
Carnivore flowers are never showy for all I've seen, and they tend to grow on long stems, so the plants don't prey on their pollinating helpers.
Almost completely formed but probably unripe flower.
So this must be what a flower bud looks like.
Couldn't resist publishing this very phallic-looking, still unopened pitcher. I could take even more malicious photos by looking for the perfect angle/point of view, but you get the point anyway

You're always nice, Ferrel. Thanks
Maybe the nepenthes is flowering because I finally found a sustainable way to overwinter it without moving it. Usually I did pretty nothing, confident that freezing or near-freezing temps are quite unusual around here. The poor thing survived, yes, but the cold air and the wetness were quite a bit of a stress. It always took a while - well into mid or late spring - to recover.
Last winter I tried a simple cellophane bag with a few holes at the bottom, so the light passed almost 100%, and the air could move a little. What I saw: very little cold burn (less than usual), maybe a few more red spots than usual, but quick recovery in spring - and a couple flowers in late June!
If I manage to make decent sized mimosas this year, I'll try the same with them. And the psychotrias. And if I get lucky, the one caapi seedling that could make it to October. I really want a wall of caapi on my southern fence one day! I'm pretty sure that sturdy plants like caapi or calea can survive ordinary winters after they're through the first one as long as they've got good roots.
When I can assess how effective this is, I'll be sure to post my results. That could help many fellow gardeners living in areas with mostly nonfreezing winters (areas 9+).

@losfreddy Hm? I don't think I've ever seen a fuzzy nepenthes, but there are so many species and varieties that I have no difficulty believing you!
