I want to move to Washington.

I want to move there because of the scenery and legal pot. I've never been there but I have a childhood friend that lives there and I may visit sometime this summer or in the fall. I've already moved so many times in my life, I don't think I'll ever be fully happy no matter where I live. I hate where I live right now. Not going to say where but it's a shitty state filled with illegals and it's always hot year round. Anyone live in Washington? I'd pick Colorado but I don't like snow... lived near Canada for close to 6 years.

Can't really help you too much as I don't live in washington myself, but have wanted to for quite some time. Either that or oregon.
I currently live in Colorado. Always have been, so the legal weed has always been a bonus as I didn't have to move here just for it haha. You're right, the snow fucking sucks. If you live near the big cities downtown it isn't too bad, but up in the west side of colorado and even down south, winters are fucking brutal. It's pretty common to see -20f at my own house lol!
I would love to move to washington though. It's so beautfiul there, hell all of the pnw is beautiful. I love the foliage and the forests there, and I actually prefer rain more than I hate it.

I want to get out of this 5+ year long depression and I think a complete change would do it. Actually I can't say because I don't know... I really don't. Possible not. But hey, at least I'd have pot and trees (actual trees not weed)! JK... that's sort of a bad attitude but seriously I want to do something with my life. I've lived like this for too long. It's getting old. I can't see myself being 50 or so years old in the same position as I am now. I'd probably wind up just killing myself way before I turn 50. Just kidding... JK. Not serious!
The snow does fucking blow. I lived near about 3 hours from the Canadian border for a long time and holy shit, the winter is literally about 5 out of 12 months out of the year. It's really inconvenient and annoying. The only good thing about that location was the easy access to drugs. I've come to a realization that I'm not happy without drugs and/or people to hang out with. It's a sad one but that's just the way it is. I'm not a fat slob, I'm actually pretty attractive and in good shape but my life right now is shit. Anyway, I've rambled on for too long. Thank you for your comment and reading my thread. BYE! (:

Home is where you make it, and happiness is a state of mind.
Its hard for me to remember that at times too. I also intend to make it up to Washington in the next 2-5years. Its getting harder to beat the heat after 15 years of it. I hope moving will help pull myself out of some mental rut as well.
Any ideas as to what part of the state you want to move too? For myself, I envision being close to a forest area where I can walk and clear my mind. I feel much more grounded and creative in nature. Ideally 15-25 minutes outside of the nearest town/city. Who knows if its possible, but thats what I see and hope for.
Best of luck

Washington is a very perticular place, visit during the 9 month "chilly-moist-overcast" season so you can see what it's really like. People there are infamous for being passive aggressive and pretentious, for good reason.
I've lived in 6 states over a dozen cities. WA is okay overall, but there are friendlier, cheaper places with better weather. Good place for events, outdoor stuff, anything you want in an American city.

Colorado is full, no vacancy. How about Oregon? Legal pot there too.

I live in Oregon, and its pretty sweeeet
Washington is awesome, plus free wild shrooms too! hell yah shroomer
Washington has a nice mix of city life and forest/outdoor life. Its like Oregon, but more broad in terms of city vs forest life, if that makes sense.
I would recommend moving there, PNW is awesome but it does rain a lot in the winter, so bring some rain gear

I vote Oregon as well, very similiar to Washington but not quite as far north.
Though if you really hate the rain and cold northern Cali might suit you.
Anyways I hope you find what you are looking for!
