Would you eat iguanas?

Iguanas have become an invasive species in Puerto Rico. They are destroying crops and their population has grown so large that it has put other native animal species in danger.
There are a few people here that are taking the initiative of hunting iguanas and cooking them in a lot cases. Many countries in Central America do this already; it'd be a lil extra moneys for the iguana hunters if they get to sell the meat here and there.
I'm a vegetarian but I'd definitely hunt and eat these fucks to protect my land Thinking of going with my uncle, he's interested too.
What do y'all think? Would you hunt iguanas? Would you eat them? How would you cook them?
I'd personally kebab them on a BBQ.

I guess I would, assuming they aren't a really nasty texture or flavor. Seems like the kind of thing people would say tastes like chicken.

I would eat iguanas, but not iguanas from Puerto Rico. I would not hunt them unless it was a survival situation. I'm not going to just hunt down and kill a fucking iguana just because I want to eat iguana.

It has nothing to do with race. I have knowledge of PR which you obviously do not. You eat PR iguanas at your own risk, man. Good luck with that.

Thank you. I've often wondered what way anyone might enjoy 'gator. I might try it when I go to Florida, but only because I've always been intrigued about how it is, and not because a bunch of ignorant people hate the 'gators being in their native areas(the kid that was eaten in Florida).

I bet grilled iguanas taste good. Turtles and tortoises have good taste, and so do frogs. I bet the tail is the best part.

I'd eat anything once.
The only thing I wouldn't eat again of all the things I've tried was raw sea urchin.

I'd probably try any kind of animal meat at least once, except dogs, I admit I have a bias with that one.

Aww, why no iguanas from PR? Too dirty for you or something? I don't get your logic, what's the difference from eating an iguana and hunting it yourself for a reasonable cause?
