Music and DMT

Hello folks, just wondering if you guys listen to any music while smoking dmt? I never thought I would enjoy music on it thinking it would make everything far too much for the senses. Lately I've been listening to Yob - Silence and crossing into Yob - Revolution when I smoke and it seems to embody everything I'm feeling/seeing and it's true beauty

Music changes the whole trip. Like the visuals will have a certain theme based on the music, and it'll sync with it. Entities will sometimes dance to the music or sing along and change it, adding new instruments. Pretty wild.

I've always enjoyed having really minimal, relaxing music while blasting off.like Brian Eno's ambient stuff,Robert Fripp and Dan Gibson.Preferably nothing with lyrics..
The only time i ever did it without music was when i first learned that you could dab it.At the time it had been a while and i was feeling confident about my trip. After accidentally dabbing too much(40mg)on my ceramic nail in complete silence,it definitely turned me off from tripping in silence. The alien/robotic machine sounds were very overwhelming, while at the same time trying to remember who I was.Ever since then I havn't been too thrilled about trying it again without chill music hahahaha

I was hearing music in my head for a solid week after one of my DMT trips. It was odd it was like when you get ringing in your ears but it didn't go away it was making music. It had a wierd vibe to it DMT gave me flashbacks and made me hear music it's stronger than LSD. My acid flashbacks are usually just paint dripping but DMT makes me pass out I get the taste of it and then my head gets flooded and I'm zoned out as fuck. It was classical music made of ringing like the ringing in your ears only musical.

You are one of a select few who get flashbacks... it's actually pretty rare. I've never met a person irl who experiences them without smoking weed.

Jazz. In particularly a good trumpet solo works well....choose lyrics if any wisely.

I remember the first time I broke through we were listening to Shpongle beforehand to get us in the right vibe. We turned off all the lights and a friend proceeded to parcel out the hits to those in the room. When it came my turn I remember pulling a fat hit out of the sandwiched bong rip, and while holding it in the music started to melt and morph into something completely different, the music had a tribal-like vibe to it even more so than prior to say the least. Upon exhale the music vanished completely and I was fastballed into another dimension!

Never listened to music before smoking DMT, but kind've wanna try it because it sounds like it could bring a less overwhelming trip. Does the music really effect the trip that much? Like for example if I was to listen to a Death Metal song about a serial killer or something, is that the sort of shit i'd have visions about? Definitely wouldn't try it haha, but anyways would Bob Marley or some positive vibed classical music be good to listen to?

I like chill acoustic music without lyrics. My go to is this video
I think lyrics are distracting, but a chill melody and track can really guide the visuals. My visuals are usually abstract and geometric patterns of color and shapes. Combined with the music, the random patterns sync into rhythmic transitions and popping. The vibe of the song can lift your spirits too and bring out emotions. Music is definitely encouraging.
I'm not sure what death metal would encourage. Probably will have the same rhythmic effects, but I imagine the emotions would be violent and stressed.

I wouldn't think you would start seeing visions of serial killers, you would probably just find it too much for your senses. Tho I've had bands on like Decrepit Birth or Dimension Zero while lifting off on dmt and really enjoyed it. I found the fast paced music to pair up well with the intense fast paced visuals haha. I prefer slow doom or stoner doom while smoking dmt it seems tho.

I think Entombment Of A Machine would be a cool song to listen to on it.
