If someone had to fly into Colorado to move

And had no money, bad credit, etc whats the best city to try and get some decent help, find a job, etc? I am burnt up in this State, wore out my welcome with a long history of things and need a new start somewhere. This place is nothing but ghettos and corn plantations anyway.
I have a very good set of skilled work experience, welding, framing and finishing houses, electrical, landscaping, building the worlds largest mining trucks, wiring up the worlds largest alcohol refinery, cultivation of cannabis etc.
You locals think I might be welcome around there?

I feel like your options are open fairly equally just about anywhere, the main differences being costs of living. Some cheaper areas nearby fun happy areas would be Louisville, Westminister & Lafayette which don't exactly have much to do innn them in terms of enjoying yourself kinda things, but aren't far from like Boulder or Denver

Lived in Denver on and off for 10 years. Great progressive city. No one is going to give you a job with no effort yet in your profession I think you would do well.

Lakewood has pretty low cost of living in certain areas, and it isn't really sketchy at all. Littleton is nearby and is a really great town as well.
Also pretty much anywhere up in the mountains can be pretty damn cheap (by mountains I mean you take 285 or i70 up into the mountains)
Southwest colorado is the pits. I would NEVER live there. It is like 110 degrees in the summer down there and (I SHIT YOU NOT) -40f in the winter. What the fuck? It's also piss poor pretty much everywhere you go, very few redeeming qualties IMO.
Luckily colorado is indeed pretty damn progressive. I have never once been hassled by the police or other people and am always going 15-20 over on the highway and out driving at like 12-1am smoking weed in the car. The only place where the cops have a fucking quota here is colorado springs (never live there!)

Have you ever been to Colorado? There's homeless people on every corner.
You know why?
They all had plans like yours.

Well even if you're homeless, all hope isn't lost. There is an independent organization that raises money to give free weed to the homeless in denver!

And sometimes dispensaries do these things where they post up at a park and give you a gram for every bag of trash you pick up.
In the Summer, it ain't a terrible place to be homeless. Winter's dangerous, though.

I have never been homeless, and never will be. I work too hard, and have a long history of education and steady advancement in skills. Being homeless is not my concern, I just can't stay here in this place due to a very bad reputation for violence and causing major disturbances in the lives of people who disrespected me. It has all caught up with me, i wanted to create this image that everyone knows i should not be fucked with and it has come full circle to the point that regardless of my skills, education, and work ethic no one will work with me out of fear of eventually upsetting me.

Good information, the mountains sound good for me. I dont like people, the city, and minimum contact with others is a desirable situation for me.

I hear that, but my situation is different. I am not moving to try and escape homelessness or anything like that, not looking for a free ride. These guys you are talking about probably had this great idea to spend their last disability or tax return check on a one way ticket to colorado for legal weed. That's dumb as fuck I can get better weed, for a lower price right here in the middle of the ghettos of Illinois. I rode through colorado not too long ago with a buddy who works for a moving company. The weed was low rent ass outdoor grown junk and it was hard to find and over priced.

If you're homeless, just migrate to Florida or San Diego for winter.
I grew up in Colorado back when it was a backwards ass redneck state. This hippie haven with legal weed is not anything like I remember as a kid.
I can attest to Colorado Springs cops being the most hardcore of almost all the different police I've lived around.
I would recommend getting a car at least before you go or as you get there. It's a big state.

I have a truck, but I won't be bringing it I gave it to my sister to keep as a backup because she lives way out in the country and just gave birth, I cant let my nephews life depend on her old mans chevy lmao.
I am not even sure if I 100% have to fly out yet. I have my passport and enough cash to fly anywhere on the planet right now, but my connection to income will be lost as soon as i leave my home state

Weed is def not bottom dollar cheap but you know exactly what you're getting. If you've got a couple thousand bucks, OP, you could easily just fly out here and make a life for yourself. I live in Denver and if you aren't picky you can find quite a bit of decent housing. Everyone pays high rent out here so you're looking at between $600 and $1000 a month IF you have a roommate. There are obviously exceptions everywhere but thats the norm here. But random crappy jobs are a dime a dozen out here, super easy to get

As in literally fucking everywhere. There's probably 3 times more dispensaries in the Springs than there are gas stations, and it ain't even a recreational city.
If you can't find pot in Colorado, you should NOT be smoking pot.

I second this. I'm sure there are also towns in the south side of Colorado that are considerably cheaper. I'd look at everything not close the mountains cuz that's where cost of living spikes up. Or you could live in a trailer park on i70. Those look gnarly as hell.

Denver sucks ass but it's a great place to make money. Boulder is awesome but it's a great place to lose all your money because it's so exepnsice. If you're going to be homeless though, Boulder is the spot. Tarp camp by the creek and most people will treat you nicely. Pueblo is cheap as fuck with lots of pot jobs, but the city blows and you're far away from most interesting activity.
Really though, if you're moving without a plan, I'd plan on being homeless for a bit. I'd suggest going to Boulder to be homeless. Lots of homeless folks I talk to seem to make do pretty well up there. Just don't be one of those able bodied bums who makes a lame ass sign begging for money. Come up with hustles, jokes, songs, a clever sign, art, etc. and you'll have a lot easier time getting food and cash.
Finding a place to live in Colorado is the hardest part. With bad credit and no job you are going to have a really tough time. Even a Felony makes it hard out here. I've got credit over 700, stable income on the books, and no record and even I have had a hell of a time finding spots out here. Fortunately I'm settled now
