Wild cubensis tend to lose their potency relatively quickly (compared to cultivated cubes) once they are dried. For some reason.
Fresh wild cubes are about equal in potency to that of Fresh cultivated cubes, sometimes (on very special occassions) wild cubensis can be seriously-seriously potent though, fresh.
And yeah, a field can become 'overpicked' and produce less shrooms, 'even put a field into practical extinction from shroom growth.
-What happens is that shroomers pick from the cow patties faster than the cows can shit them out.. hehehe.
You have to look at the big-picture of a cow pasture, look at it like the entire pasture is a giant shroom-organism, and not just each shroom-pattie.

When you say that you ate 16 grams dry do you mean the shrooms weighed that before you dried them, or after? Because 16 grams of dried shrooms is a MASSIVE amount. And from the pictures you posted doesnt look like you picked enough to have your 70grams dry.

He means 16 g after drying. I know of people that have done more in one day.

Yes they were "cracker dry"-and yes that is a massive amount.Like I said I'm crazy when it comes to trippin.My total dry wait for what I have posted here came to 73 g's dry -131 cubes=73 g's dry.I have 50+g's left- is this hard to believe also? shall I post pics of what I have left next to a news paper? hahaha j/k

Now that is hard to believe-Dude that was one(probably my strongest)intense feeling and trip! I've heard of the Indians eating from 30-40 dry grams per cerimony(must be weak shrooms or they are immune to them)I would not eat that many of these-well maybe -if I get my tolerence up and my nerves lol.

Hi doc,
Wild Cubensis dry to be much-much less potent than dried (and Cultivated) Cubensis.
Your 16grams of dried wild cubes
Is roughly equal to 4-5 grams of quality Cultivated (dried) cubes.

there is no way to tell.. how do you know that? Every cube probably has a different amount of psilocybin in it.

What makes "cultivated" cubes more potent? Looks to me like they would do better in nature than indoors.

YEs they do but on a 1-1 scale, an 8th of a dried ounce usually contains 15 to 30 milligrams of psilocybine in them, or a dosage of from 3-5 grams dried. That is the clinical dosage for shrooms. So, it does not matter. Cultivated cubes according to Bigwood and Beug, etc have a ratio form 1-4 potency in dried materials.

why in the FUCK would someone bullshit about finding shrooms? do people actually do this? who gives a shit whether they bullshit or not? does it REALLY matter? i think that's kind of queer you would even ask for such a thing...

Hey GG,
I aint one to argue,but,every time I have bought dried "cultivated shrooms" they were weaker than the baggie they came in,but,everytime someone came through with "fresh shrooms",5g's was a good dose compared to 10g's of the 'cultivated' ones that I obtained(maybe I got scammed?).I just ended up waiting till the freshies came thru - and,the presence of, "cow poop" was always an added bonus.But let me stress this"IT IS ONLY MY OPINION"haha - in all respects though, these that I have eaten lately are the best "wild" shrooms I have ever eaten(taste like cow poop though- actually lost one dose like that)!Btw- if I picked them on monday and had them dried on wednesday and I ate them on friday wouldnt that still be considered pretty damn fresh?

Here is a picture of the non-active Psilocybe coprophilus;
And here are some Reishi shrooms, next to a chinese cookie it appears;
And here are some of the Poisonous and very common Chlorophyllum molybdites;
Here are some Copelandia cyanescens shrooms, with one Pan sphinctrinus also on the same pie;
Gymnopilus luteus (staining blue, most likely active)
Gymnopilus luteoviridis (staining blue, most likely active)
Gymnopilus armillatus (not active)
Gymnopilus luteofolius, active, but shouldn't eat;
Another collection of the Mystery Panaeolus ggreatoneifolius;
Here are some Psilocybe cubensis shrooms growing from a flower pot where brown rice flour cakes were placed;
Here is a tiny cluster of Copelandia cyan shrooms growing from a casing of brown rice flour cakes, from wild cope spores collected in bradenton florida;
MMmm here is something else to that same effect but with Cubensis from bradenton spores;
And some treasure coast cubies;
And here are some shroomies that were growing underneath a friends bushes, after he took the shroom-patties home and watered them with a hose;
Thats the shrooms.

1st pic-Is this edible?Does it grow on doodoo?
2nd pic-Do Reishi's grow on wood(logs,trees)?
3rd pic-Does the Molybdite grow on doodoo?
4th pic-do you find more copes in open pastures or under tree's
(I noticed the leaves in this picture)?
