    #23366533 - 06/21/16 10:56 AM (7 years, 7 months ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood

Pecan tree

Gills:
I think pores but maybe gills, I'll look tomorrow, it was a spur of the moment picture, wasn't even thinking about asking for ID when I saw it today..

Stem:

White

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Wavy looking, tan golden looking

Spore print color:

Will harvest tomorrow and take a print...
Very important!

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Are they edible? Looking online it appears so, just making sure before I pick them. It said you can make tea? I've never found any edible that wasn't cubensis lol..wouldn't mind tasting an inactive mushroom at all though.

They are medicinal...not to eat...Dry them , grind them up and make a tea. These are one of the Ling Chi mushrooms. I use a similar ganoderma sp. and make an extract that I use to help treat my RA. They are immune system modulators among other things...google ling chi for more info.

I use forresters tek for a double extract.
