I take all of my masters to bags, up to 8 lb.'s. Bags are super easy, the most important thing though is you will need to use a tyvec sleeve. You place the sleeve down in the bag with top of the sleeve sticking out of the top, make sure the sleeve is covering the space between the gussets, lay the top over and then fold it over once, and back again like an accordian. Load the bags in your PC, an AA 921 can do up to 20 lb.'s of grain and an AA 941 can do up to 40 lb.s of grain. Also lay something heavy like a plate over the top so the PC vent won't get clogged. PC time should be 2 hours or over depending on how full it is loaded. If you dont have a flowhood I would let the bags cool in a tote and try not to disturb the seal that bag creates until you go go to spawn. With out a sealer, zip ties are the best, sealers on are a pain in the ass anyways. What size bags are you using?

Found these on ebay, seller was from out-grow so I got them pretty cheap while skimping on shipping. I measured 10 cups of rye grain in a bag while leaving about an inch under the filter patch. The tyvek will hold the deal till I can zip them up?
Thanks man, love Aesop, not yet I'll look them up!

Impossibele Kid is Aesops new album, it's dope.
I use Out grows bags, they are great. It depends on what size the bags are for how much you can put in there, I use the large. The bags will seal themselves up naturally around the tyvec in the PC, just try not to mess with them too much while unloading. When you go to inoculate them, have a zip tie looped already to quickly tie up when ready.

Oh shit they have a new album?!
Okay awesome, I was worried about the elastic bands would cause a problem around the ends but it's good to know it will create its own seal.

What were you going to do with elastic bands? All you need to PC is the tyvec sleeve and to fold accordingly. I will find you a thread or tek about it.

Thanks for the link, i'm just waiting to get a little coin to buy some tyvek sleeves and put my studies into practice! Little update: turned two jars into twenty, love this hobby, after you get past the fear of sterility the rest just takes care of itself. Some tiny signs of primordia and another week until these top five jars consolidate and I actually dial and set up a monotub!

Had to take the tub outside, green monster is poking its ugly little head. They'll greatly benefit from the temp, doesn't go over 65 in my room.

Had to start over a few days ago, using two quarts spawn and four quarts CVG. On day four and they look like this.
It's amazing, the mycelium looks like grass, should I wait the full 10 days before introducing into fruiting?
