ID? - In bush near stringy barks and eucalyptus trees
    #23362591 - 06/20/16 01:22 AM (7 years, 9 months ago)

Does anyone have any idea what these are? Ive found huge patches of the small ones, they have a nipple looking caramel brown top, the gills are cream to light brown/biege colour and the stems are red or brown colour. Around stringy arks and other hardwoods and eucalyptus trees. no spore print as left them until can get pointed even closely to what they are. The large mushroom might be a bolete? same area and has white creamy pores underneath.

First two pictures are of a Laccaria sp., last one likely a bolete but need pictures of the underside and stem.

Laccaria are not toxic. More information is needed to tell if you have an edible bolete.

Are there any uses for these Laccaria? Ive been searchin and can find the edible Laccaria Laccata but its not like these. And I will go back soon to look for more boletes and take one for spore print and more pics. Thanks!

It might be something else, like Xeromphalina. The stem does seem a bit thin and smooth and red for Laccaria but it would be useful to see a shot of the stem and gills in focus. Pretty sure it isn't anything that you would really want.

If that's wood they're growing on, then yes, I think.

Thanks! I'll go out and take some macro pics with camera instead of using my phone and upload those so can see better detail and also any other I find i'm unsure of. Growing in sandy soil.
