Hi guys, I noticed someone picking something from my front yard the other day. Finally got around to seeing what might have been so interesting and noticed a lot of mushrooms growing. I put mulch / wood chips down about a year ago, and there are lots of leaves falling into my yard from the big trees in the street. See pic.
There seem to be three different types of mushroom, or maybe just three stages of development of one type. (The third are the tiny ones next to the stone near the middle of the right edge of the pic).
I have no interest in taking or selling the mushrooms, but I would love to identify them as I have a dog who I sometimes leave in the area for a few minutes before going for a walk. I'd hate for him to get sick if he ate these.
Any help much appreciated.
Habitat: Melbourne Australia. Earth, Wood chips, Weeds, Leaves, lots of rain recently.
Gills: Light brown to Dark Brown. From around 3cm to 6cm Diameter. See pics.
Stem: White, Brown / Dirty.
Cap: There seem to be two shapes. Nicely round with a little nipple thing in the top middle. And flat top but wavy all the way around. Can't tell if different types or young and older of same type. See pics.
Spore print color: I can't tell if it's just brown or brown-purple. See photo.
Bruising: Doesn't seem to bruise if I squeeze the stem. How long is it meant to take for bruising to show?
Other information: I have a cold at the moment so can't really tell what it smells like ...

I would say those are P. subaeruginosa however wait for a trusted identifier Squeeze the the edge of the cap and it should turn a blue/green/black colour, you should also see some blue spots on the stem

Yep agree look like P.Subaeurginosa, I can see some weak blueing on the stem where you've pressed.
Wait for the trusted identifier though like filterhead suggests.

They're all P. subaeruginosa in different stages of growth.
