Are these LC jars OK to use?

Hey all,
So, I recently started a few jars of LC from a spore print from my last harvest. Figured it'd be easier and faster than using spore syringes. I thought that they were good to use, as they certainly seemed like they were on the right track.
A few days ago, I inoculated eight BRF cakes, noting which jars came from which LC so that I could track any contamination. Unfortunately, five of my eight jars are definitely molding, and I have suspicions about the other three. I've never lost more than one jar out of eight, and so I'm fairly confident that my procedure is at least fairly sterile. Thus, I'd appreciate any feedback that you guys could give on my LC jars. My biggest concern is that I didn't wait long enough for the LC jars to fully colonize. Well, I pretty much know that I didn't, but I figured that as long as there was mycelium present in the syringe that it would be effective.
On an unrelated note, any ideas on why my cakes always flush at different times? I always see these beautiful pictures of SGFCs with a sea of mushrooms on every cake, but I've never had more than one or two cakes flush at a time.
Thanks as always!

i have no idea on the LC's so someone else can chime in on that. but as for why you only get mushrooms on one cake and not another, imo, is based on where the best micro-climate is being formed in your chamber. id bet that if you moved some of your non fruiting cakes into the area where your fruiting cakes are, youll find that they start fruiting faster while the others start going slower.
or i could be completely wrong because i have no idea what your set-up looks like :p good luck though bud!

There is no way to visually tell if a LC is clean, that is why it's recommended as an advanced technique. It has to be tested before you can use it to inoculate any large amount of anything, and even then, with poor sterile technique, the entire batch could become contaminated while drawing liquid from the jar, so you could, at any time, experience a large amount of failure. Cleaning out a bunch of jars sucks.

Yeah, kinda what I figured. I'll give it one more shot and then go back to spore syringes, I suppose.
Thanks!
