I think it is highly probable there isn't intelligent life out there. Way less probable than I thought before! You have to think how hard it really is to generate just the most simplest life forms and think how many mass extinctions and chance events occurred for this planet to evolve intelligent mammals, let alone needing the right conditions to form life. The chances would have to be more than 1 in a quadrillion! Intelligent life has to be extremely rare.

It probably only seems unlikely to a lot of people because we're judging the probability of life forming based off human metrics and Earth standards. The universe is timeless and apparently getting bigger constantly. We have hardly scratched the surface when it comes to exploring what the universe has to offer.

Check this out:
Quote:
In November 2013, astronomers reported, based on Kepler space mission data, that there could be as many as 40 billion Earth-sized planets orbiting in the habitable zones of Sun-like stars and red dwarfs in the Milky Way,[5][6] 11 billion of which may be orbiting Sun-like stars.[7]
Out of the hundred billion galaxies, containing billions of planets, I think there's a good shot that there is alien life out there.. galaxies are more gigantic than we can even comprehend and contain SO many stars and worlds.
I feel just the opposite of you OP. I feel like there is no way there is not other life out there. We just may never meet them.

OK, deep breath. This is a forum about psychedelic experience, right? So, not wanting to be contentious, but shouldn't we be opening our minds, rather than shutting down possibilities? I work with loads of different types of star people in my healing work. They orchestrate it, not me, although we work cooperatively. There are many accounts of indigenous traditions which recount that star people brought us here, and have intervened to help us progress. 'Black Elk Speaks' is a classic account. OK guys, shoot me down in flames, but please don't be personal or unpleasant about it. I'm quite shy about sharing this, but I think we should consider whether we want to limit or liberate our thinking. Mick x

The fact is that aliens have been and still are on or perhaps more to the point in the earth. Check out Phil Schneider last interview. DUMBS are quite real as he described over 20 years ago before being offed. He gives the accounting of his encounters with aliens that didn't end well and his half melted off hand says something about that day. He describes alien technology and where it has and is being used such as stealth bombers. Sightings of UFOs have been too numerous to even mention so if no one is out there they sure fly around a lot. I had one almost land in my backyard the neighbor sure remembers it super low super bright and zip off it went at top speed. If it wasn't aliens it was of them. The takeover of the planet is to complete at some point as negotiated by Eisenhower back when and the UN is fully into this. Humans are to be herded into their stack and packs with wilderness biodiversity zones and buffers between so the stinky grays can finally roam around in the open. Agenda 2030 and so on.
As to OP, you can not be Sirius.

The chances is at least 1 in 500,000,000 seeing as there are an estimated 500,000,000 habitable planets in the Milky way and we live on 1 of them.
The chance was high enough to happen on Earth. Just like the lottery there's a low chance of winning but it's not impossible.

The chances are 1 in 1. Unlike the lottery.

My bad, it's at least 1 out of 11-40 billion, not 500 million.
Out of the 11-40 billion planets that mankind has calculated to be in our galaxy, at least 1 of them has life.
That a minimum of 1 out of 11-40 billion planets that has life.
