Probably not actually. Science heavily weighs against this as a possibility.
If aliens were to exist we'd have discovered them by now, sorry to dash your hopes.
Well, you'd be surprised about what seemed impossible until it was found or created.
We do happen to be sitting quite pretty here in our suitable distance from the sun with water and whatnot.
Next sun, next galaxy.
Coming to a planet impossibly far from you probably sometime.
No, actually, the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light, so the only possibility of encountering aliens would have to exist in our local cluster, which is close enough for gravity to hold us together.
If there was an intelligent species, advanced enough to reach us, we would have discovered them already.
Unless our current understanding of physics changes, and we get warp drives / worm holes, we're alone here.

You should make your own thread instead of derailing this one.
I like the question posed though, as beautiful as space is, the deep sea is sketchy, and much more of an immediate concern than space.

Which will probably be a natural mutation of a normal earth grown bacteria.
The chance of our species living another 2000 years without reverting to medievalism is remote.

Lol we have not been to every planet. It cant be proved either way. Although evidence shows some lifeforms can survive in space

Once we make it, we will. Technology is running at breakneck speeds and only going faster and faster.
There are so many asteroids in our solar system that we can convert into space stations and all things we need for space based life, the future will probably be, if we give peace a chance, that there will be more people living in space in our solar system than on all our planets and moons put together. A solar system with 50 planets, dwarf planets and moons, and a million inhabited space stations.
And thats one solar system. Once you have the capability to harvest asteroids and convert them to fully equipped space stations then every single solar system becomes inhabitable because they all have plenty of asteroids containing the whole periodic table of elements.
Then we can colonize every star we reach with millions of space stations and billions of inhabitants.

You all talk like technology is infinite. Once we learn/make everything there is to then that is it.

We are so far removed from that point!
We can redefine ourselves even, as a species of organic lifeforms occupying bodies of on average 200lbs of biomatter, to for instance artificial lifeforms with nanoboit or holographic bodies or even reduce ourselves to the code we are.
We are 30 years removed from the era where music was carried as one foot diameter disks of black plastic where the sound was engraved as a wobbly groove, which you could play by having a crystal needle vibrate through the groove and amplifying the resulting sound.
That was IT. That was the technology when I was a kid.
NOW look at us.
In 2000 the computer I bought had 20 gigabytes of spinning harddrive. Now you can literally get a terabyte on a thumbdrive. 32GB thumbdrives are $80 for 10.

We don't need to visit their planets to discover them?
Lol if they had the tech to reach us, they would be putting such a large impact on their local systems that we would see that.

Moores law, is what you're referring too and it is actually reaching it's limits.
Scientists have created a transistor made up of a single molecule. Surrounded by just 12 atoms, it is likely to be the smallest possible size for a transistor – and the hard limit for Moore’s law.
Maybe one day we will create a transistor that is just a single atom, but as of right now, we've seemingly hit our limit of our current understanding of computers.

It very well can. That is if they have elements that are not present in our table of elements.

The periodic table of elements has literally nothing to do with the laws of physics.

There could be an element out there that can. My theory is there is an element somewhere out there that can help with the manipulation of gravity.

I guess I've heard more ridiculous things in my life, so you're free to believe what you want.
Can't have science without theories.
