I could use some help with identifying my cactus / cacti. I used to have an old peyote but this one was a gift and is quite young. the thing is it's growing in length and not in width. also there are two babies that kind of shriveled up and i wanted to ask if i could save them. and can i do anything to help the sunburn?^-^

my friend told me she put the pot with the cacti in a vivarium directly under the brightsun lamp and that it shriveled up after that

I don't know man, doesn't look like any sunburned cactus I have seen, usually they get burned where the light hits them and is intense, this causes areas to lose the green coloring, and turn yellowish, followed by brown, then if the problem is fixed soon the sunburned spot will turn a tan color and scar, but if left untreated will cause the plant to die, turn squishy black/brown and rot.
How is the drainage of your soil? How easily does the water flow from it when watering, looks like that little guy might be over watered, and is rotting from the base up.

If I knew what a ´brightsun lamp´ is I might be able to comment.

I don't have any idea but if I had to guess Those are looking etiolated to me, they look like they might've been exposed to too much light too soon, due to being extra sensitive from etiolation (already super low light levels) Maybe too close to the lamp?

They need more light isbwhat it is. Once they get long like that light is the only thing that makes them squat again.

the soil is quite loose and the water usually flows right through the drain holes after a couple of seconds but i don't water from above i only give fertilizer every 3 weeks from above

A windowsill should work.
