New ginormous SAB 5

Just thought I'd share a pic of my new ginormous SAB I made tonight. My old one was getting cramped even with just like 10 grain jars in it. This should give me room to move stuff around.
This time, I used my BernzOmatic to smooth edges around the arm-holes.
It's a 50 gallon tote. The table it's on is 48"x24".

Don't be jelly

I always wondered if big SAB's were okay to make or not. Ima have to get me one of them there contraptions.
-------------------- How to get started in bulk: Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs) What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

They're shoulder wide and I have broad shoulders, so it's perfect for me.

I'm sure there's a point where it's so big that it becomes harder to keep the air very still, but then it would probably be too big to reach everywhere anyway. I honestly wouldn't go any bigger than this one.

I've been using the same one forever. Agar wasn't as bad, but I had to shuffle jars around 10 jars, and I agree, it's kind of a PITA.

I bought a 150L tote for a SAB. Too bad I melted the arm holes, would have made a killer mono. I don't use it anymore so now it just sits there holding my straw bale. What a waste, damn thing cost me 45euro.

Looks like I need to upgrade. I can only do four jars at a time in my 66qt.

@magicMerlin: I got it at Walmart. They have the same one at Home Depot. Sterilite model 1479.
@Subnet Mask: Yeah, my first one was a 66 qt and it was PITA to do grains. My last one was 108qt.
I just noticed my totes are PP5. Hmmmm. Very interesting.

Yeah man that's a killer idea, too bad.
How important do you think it is to have something covering the holes when not in use?

not very important. I like to cover them if it's going to be sitting for awhile but I'm not done working or I realize I need to leave the room while I have certain things going on. Sometimes it gets hot in the room and I need to turn the AC on for a while and I like to use them then. I hardly ever cover the arm-holes otherwise though. I may not have covers for them at all on this one.
I like to cover them while petri dishes are cooling mostly. Trying to keep a roll of petris stacked is almost impossible, so I split the stack in like thirds. Then, I re-stack them so I have two stacks. I cut the wrapper in half, instead of opening at the ends, so I can cover two stacks separately.
If you mostly use no-pour agar, then arm-hole covers are probably completely unnecessary.
