is that actually a mimosa tree? it looks like a Albizia Julibrissin "mimosa silk tree, silk tree, persian silk tree"

You are correct it would seem...was purchased off eBay over a decade ago with no research and no intent to ever harvest the bark. Never bothered to actually look up the flowers just leaves until you mentioned that lol
Erowid looks to have some people claiming mild anti depressant qualities though xD
Was mainly just wanting to say "look at these pretty pictures)
According to Wikipedia I probably could have found them as introduced species near by -_- laaaaaame. Still beautiful though

Wasn't trying to be a douche, and your home really is quite beautiful. I just try to be informative when I can. They are quite beautiful trees really even if they aren't DMT containing.

I appreciate the info, at least now I know what it is lol..ticks don't like them and they make wonderful shade trees thanks to their shape.
Now I can spend the next ten years actually growing a mimosa or acacia now xD. The leaves were so similar its crazy.

Tons of trees in the pea family have very similar looking leaves. Fabaceae
