Below are pics of the full harvest. They were all growing together but some of the older ones look a bit mangey (gills are darker, some caps have damage/spots) - are they still fine to eat?

* Habitat What kind of trees were nearby? What was it growing from? * Location Where in the world was it?
Found on the outskirts of a football field in north east Victoria. Growing around the base of a deciduous tree.
* Gills What do they look like?
Caramel gills, a little lighter colour than the cap of the mushroom, slightly darker than the stem. * Stem
3-4 cm stem length, roughly the same as the diameter of the cap.
* Spore print color (if you have time)
None yet sorry.
* Color that the mushroom bruises when damaged.
blue/grey

Brilliant, thanks. So exciting. Going to go harvest the rest of them now.
Now just got to do some more reading on dosage and preparation etc.
Thanks again.

In your last photo, the close up, some of those do not look right.
I am concerned you have a mixed collection with a couple of interlopers.
please double check your finds
the first few pics are clearly Psilocybe subaeruginosa. but Hypholoma sp. are known to grow in the exact same habitat and i have seen then growing on the sane substrate.

Hey Obtuse - thanks heaps for that.
Can you help me if I post some better photos?
They all seemed to stain blue, but yeah, good to be sure.
Will post more photos in a bit.
Thanks again.

Yes, well spotted. I overlooked those ones... or did I? Since the OP edited their post.
