First post on shroomery so hello everybody Got a question about trays in greenhouse, cubensis cambodian. I modified a greenhouse (small 3tier) and for a test i made a tray. Mixed a straw log with cow poo compost, coir, coffie and gypsum. as an upper layer i sprinkeled a 1 pint jar of healthy colonised rye grain, topped with 1cm layer of coir not to expose the grain. 6days later mycelium is peeking thru (spots all over the tray 30-35%), when is it time to engage the humidifier and start fruiting? Tryed to get a pic as i know you all love pics, but humidity didnt allow it. will try get a pic posted tomorrow. thx

You should really try and mix your spawn and sub well, if you can. But you can most likely go ahead and start fruiting. I have been just fruiting at spawning for months now. Make sure you have good FAE as well.

substrate and the fully coloniced strawlog is mixed up good, only the top layer of coir is not mixed with spawn (straw or grain), put it there to minimize risk of contams on exposed grain of coffie from the substrate. anyways, will try to fruit it today. RH stable at 95% and FAE from humidifier and a filtered xxl aquarium airpump, cakes did fruit fine in there so guessing trays should to. will be changing from 40w 6500k cfl, to 6500k led grow lights, 32w 8x3w blue and 4x3w red. this way i can put lights inside the GH. anyone tryed with led before?

LEDs are fine. Humidity means jack shit, it's the humidity at the surface that matters. Humidifiers for GHs are fine, just don't fret on the humidity. Constant high humidity in the chamber is almost always achieved at the expense of proper FAE, make sure that doesn't happen.
Also, there is no need to go with a bulb that uses a lot of watts. Liloldme uses LED strip lights that only use a few watts of power(~4-10W). The kelvin colour is what's important, the lumens not so much.

got the leds from my aquarium so using what i got FAE should be ok i think, got a pump to draw in outside air, and holes in GH walls top to bottom.
Will keep an eye out for signs of low FAE, got a squirrelcage fan and digital timers if needed.

Fans would be overkill, unless there's squirrel cage computer fans If you have a lack of FAE, just increase the hole size/number. All I'm saying is don't swap sufficient FAE for 95% constant humidity.
I just bought these LED bars/rigid strips for my tubs. Gonna hook them up on the underside of the lids. No more shrooms growing side ways. Not to mention the uncomfortable amount of light multiple high watt bulbs put out and the energy they use.

FAE is WAY more important than humidity,
most new growers would probably do a lot better if they forgot that humidity even existed
