If I was borderline psychotic this would likely fuel my madness.

The easiest way to prove you are not psychotic is to perform a miracle.

Nevertheless, that would be totally awesome!

Then again, if it's too good to be true, it must be OC.

Well, the definition of "a god" or 'God' necessarily includes an immortal or eternal ontological status. Eternal means without beginning or end, since beginnings and ends occur only in time, so 'gods' or 'God' is not made/created. Therefore you were not necessarily psychotic, but you were believing an untenable possibility, since 'gods' are not made, they exist from all eternity, if they exist at all. Your belief itself was both incorrect and delusional, but it is not possible to determine whether that delusion was an isolated subclinical phenomenon, or whether you were in the throes of a full-fledged psychotic episode. Psychosis is a component of certain mental disorders, physical disorders, or drug abreactions, but is not itself a disorder. One can become psychotic as a consequence of Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder for example, or from a physical lesion on/in the brain, or from a drug-induced psychosis.
Lastly, it is professionally unethical for a licensed mental health professional to make clinical diagnoses, sight unseen, or to venture one under the circumstances of a public forum violating the ethics of confidentiality. A face-to-face clinical evaluation in the presence of presenting symptoms is necessary in order to make a proper diagnosis. It sounds like you have a need to see a psychotherapist of one discipline or another. I'm not a medical doctor, so I recommend non-medical clinicians unless it seems that medical intervention is called for, like a presentation of florid psychotic symptoms. Yeah, they're 'chemical restraints,' but they're better than leather shackles and straight-jackets, and only for the short-term to prevent harm to self or other during the worst of it.

Markos is being very helpful.
Psychosis is often breaking THROUGH TO reality, or some aspect of the many realities, the "infinite worlds".
If you go psychotic, you are actually more sane than most.
You need to push THROUGH TO the OTHER SIDE. Generally, there is some kind of psychological damage that prevents it.
They can't cure schizophrenia because it is "just one of the many ways in which the light shone through the cracks on our dark age".

God does not deny anybody for their actions. Many of us experience psychosis on some level, especially with drug use and/or paranoia. This part of our lives are vital to the rest of our lives, because either way we choose, our perspective will manifest itself. the choice is to continue falling, or to realize that everyone else is falling with us, and we are the only ones that know it. God is nothing to fear. Being fearful, is scarier than being fearless, and only the fearless embrace God.
