fantasy football, keeper leagues - who you keeping? what are your options?
    #23354192 - 06/17/16 09:49 AM (7 years, 7 months ago)

never too early for some FF talk.

In my league if you draft a player and keep them throughout the year, you can get them again in the same round next year, any free agent automatically becomes a 10th rounder. If you keep someone 2 years in a row (or more) they start jumping up 2 rounds. We do 16 rounds total.

example:

Antonio Brown drafted in the 10th in 2014, kept in the 10th last year would be an 8th rounder this year if that owner kept them all year.

my options are currently (in order of how viable I consider them):

Tyler Lockett - 16th round
Carson Palmer - 10th round
Michael Floyd - 10th round
Stephen Gostkowski - 14th round
Matt Jones - 13th round

I have two 1st round picks and two 2nd round picks from trades made during my rebuilding year last year. I generally go one 'sell out, totally empty out draft picks for ultimate team value' year to an 'accummulate assets and draft picks' year.

Pretty sure I am going with Lockett and Palmer at this point though. who yall got?

I'll bite.

I won one of my leagues last season by half a point. It's a keeper league and I can take 5. Antonio Brown, Lamar Miller, mark Ingram, Jordan reed, Aaron Rodgers, demaryius Thomas, and Jordy Nelson. Yes, it is only an 8 team league. Who do I spend the 5 on?

AB, Rodgers, Demaryius and Jordan Reed for sure. Torn on Ingram vs. Lamar Miller, although I lean toward Ingram just based on the fact he'll probably get more goal line chances.

I'm actually torn on Jordy and Thomas. I traded for Jordy halfway through last season and I would like for that to pay off.
I will probably end up choosing Ingram in the end, being a bammer. I just hope Miller doesn't ball out

Damaryius is gonna struggle

New rookie QB and he lost his hands.

I'm not much of a fantasy guy but a lifelong bronco fan. He is good but a lot of his success was Peyton, peyton is notorious for that

I don't know man, Peyton had a severe case of noodle arm last year and Bebe's production definitely spiked when Osweiler was in there. I think he rebounds this year, maybe not back to 2013-2014 numbers, but I think he's a top fifteen WR again.

I am keeping either randall cobb, or jay ajayi. Was going to be Yeldon, but apparently Jax has gone into a timeshare RB scenario.

I'm kind of stuck with ARob and TY this year in my most competitive ppr league. Lynch retiring put me there but it's a solid foundation to build off in a 12 team ppr league.
