Shroom hunting in summer

I just cant find any info about how shrooms grow in hot climates (in summer). I also cant find at what temps the active shrooms of my area grow. Normally if the summer is hot and dry (30-35°C) and then we get a storm that can last 2 or more days will the rain and drop in temperature for that much time be enought for the mushrooms to fruit? So basicly is it worth it to go and search for shrooms after a big rain in a dry and hot summer or is there almost no chance of finding any shroom? The shrooms that grow in my area are: -Gymnopilus sp. -Panaeolus cinctulus -Pholiotina cyanopus -Pluteus nigroviridis -Psilocybe sp. (Maybe p.serbica) I will be in hungary (central europe) I really want to have an experience with shrooms and the only way i can get them is to hunt them (only time i can hunt is summer) Any help will be apreciated. Thanks

In my opinion it's always worth it to look for shrooms after rain

Being in the area you are, it surely limits your chances. As mentioned, if there is any rain, you should check for mushrooms that likes it a little hot and humid. P. cinctulus might be found in stable heaps, and is perhaps the most common psilocybin containing summer fruiter in Europe. You just need to get out there and look for it, and have patience. Bring your camera when hunting, always.

I live next to OP and there's tons of manure heaps here, the temps are getting very close to 30° and we had a lot of rain lately, but I can't find any cinctulus. There are hundreds of papilionaceus growing on the dung, but not a single cinctulus.

Ok thanks guys so i wont find anything in forests? I would like to have the time to go and search everywhere i want but ill be with my family so it wont be easy to go anywhere i want for a very long time. So i shouldnt go and search in forests? Just in grassy areas where theres manure? Is P. Cinctulus my only bet if the summer is hot?

You should try horse farms, racing tracks, riding schools etc. Wherever they are likely to have large stables. Look in the piles of discarded stable shavings if/when rain has fallen, and it is not too dry.
