Is the quality of Mimosa or Acacia as good as it ever was?

Is it?
I'd like to hear from some of you who have experience with DMT extraction over the span of multiple years.
Has there been a steady decline over the last years, or has there always been a good supply of quality product?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't really find it. Even if it has, the question is perhaps worth asking again today in 2016.
Thanx for your input.
Love, Hanz.

The Mimosa I get seems to be as good or better than what I've gotten ~5 years ago. I think pretty much all the mimosa comes from 2 main wholesalers that have always been consistent in supplying the vendors that come and go.

Thanx for the reply Icon, that's the kind of info I was hoping for.
We are allowed to discuss Shroomery sponsors here if I'm not mistaken. Is there one in particular that you have experience with?

Gaiana.nl avalonmagicplants.com
Both Shroomery sponsors, both Netherlands based, both offering the same Brazilian MHRB. I don't have experience buying from them but they look legit and the bark will be good. Get shredded.

Cool
Yes, I was considering Avalon, didn't know the other one yet. Nice they are in the NL, that means no border crossing when I order from them.
Get shredded I like that. I will soon
Hanz.

Hah, I mean make sure you get the shredded bark instead of the stripped bark. Looks like Avalon only sells stripped, Gaiana has shredded for an extra 10e. The strips may be good enough for Ayahuasca brews, but you want it shredded as fine as possible for extractions. If you get the stripped stuff you can shred it finer with a blender.

ahrg, now I get it. Didn't know about the difference between stripped and shredded.
But I've got an electric blender, you know, the tiny kind for coffee beans. I bought it to shred dried mushrooms when I did extractions on them.
Do you suppose the stripped bark can be shredded in one of those? I would think so, I guess. The blades are relentless. Also, 10e extra just for a single minute of shredding at home seems a bit steep.
And apart from being stripped or shredded, we are talking about otherwise completely identical products, right?
Thanx for your advice. As you may have guessed, I'm a dmt noob.
Hanz.

It's identical im sure, but I know I have heard many anecdotal reports of people being able to achieve a very fine powder with coffee grinders. Only negative would be the small amounts you have to grind at a time if you were planning to grind up like 10 - 20 lbs of this bark, then you would want to take another route.
Just be sure your coffee grinder is of decent quality, some people have broken cheapo ones.

Yep, it's the same stuff, shredded has just been further processed. I have a coffee grinder that I use for turning brown rice to flour, but it did not work with that bark because the bark is so fibrous and the strands get caught.
I went to walmart and got a $20 blender. The two things you want to look for in a bark blender is a metal base, and this type of blade:

Metal base will last longer than plastic and that blade design is best for chopping and pulling down more fibers. Pulse button is your friend.

Hey thanx you guys, and nice image Icon
I'm sure I'll be able to make my choice based on this info.
Ordering soon, stoked to make my first extraction
Love, Hanz.
PS: ... anyone else want to chime in and tell me about quality levels? I'm sure these guys aren't wrong, but just curious to hear more experiences with dmt extraction over the years.
