So this summer im going to Hungary (central europe) for almost 2months. We live in a very calm and far from the city village surrounded by sunflower plains, hills and forests. There are also horses cows and sheeps. Im gona be there in july-august and it tends to get quite hot most of the time(30°C or 95°F) but sometimes we get storms (a lot of rain) for 1-2 days. The species that grow there are: -Gymnopilus sp -Panaeolus cinctulus -Pholiotina cyanopus -Pluteus nigroviridis (cant find infos on this one) -Psilocybe sp (p. Serbica/bohemica) Im afraid not to find any because of the season(hot summer) but is 1 or 2 days of rain enought to get those shrooms growing ? Wich ones of the shrooms listed above can handle hot temps(28-32°C most of the time) i couldnt find a lot of info for the temperature needed for the mushrooms to fruit. Also is there other psilocybes than p. Serbica in my area because they said: psilocybe sp (maybe p.serbica or p.bohemica) does this mean psilocybe sp including p.serbica or only p.serbica.(hungary is near ukraine croatia czech ect..) Is there a chance i can find shrooms this summer ?(wich one is gona be the easiest to find and wich ones i should discard)

I was in Hungary last July and it was 40 degrees C and dry as fuck. There was a storm, but the conditions were nothing like wood or grass loving psilocybes would grow during.

I live nearby, and I've found Psilocybe Semilanceata here, but in October. I'm pretty sure you won't find Serbicas either that early...

Can i find other that psilocybes? I listed the ones that grow in hungary and most of them grow in forests. Should i look for them or i will just waste my time if the temps are too high during summer?

And also i read that mushrooms can fruit in as little as 10h and if we get a storm that lasts 2-3days it wouldnt be enought to get some growing? or is this not possible because it was dry before the rain and something happens to the mycelium or idk

Info about the fruiting requirements of different psychoactive species is here. When you find something please take photos and post them in the forum. Try to research as much as you can about a species of interest (for my part just so that you aren't taking the fishing trawler approach to Hungarian wildlife). You might teach us something new. Happy hunting!

Panaeolus cinctulus is your best bet. Look in new, rich, healthy grass that's watered.
