Cleaning + sterilizing a terrarium.

What would be the ideal way to clean up a LARGE terrarium for use.

I'm putting my greenhouse back into use and started by wiping off all the bars/grills/shelves and the plastic cover (before I put it back on) with windex. The nice smelling purple kind for those whom it matters to. Does windex leave anything behind?

I don't want to use any harsh detergents like lysol that will leave residues that will later screw with my water and humidity.
Once I've got the whole thing sealed and good to go, I'm going to spray it down with H2O2 really well.

Anyone got any other opinions or ideas on how to clean one of these things up?

Like bleach? (yuk)

Use some rubbing alcohol! It's a great dissinfectant, it evaporates quickly, and it is a lot nice to work with than bleach. I buy the big bottles of it and attach a spray nozzle right to it. Bingo spray it everywhere for all your sanitation needs!
