Thank god none hit his spine. He had them go through his dick and BALLS. In fact, they were unable to remove all of the pellets and he has two in the base of his dick still. Bunch in his thighs. Very fucked up. He has a shit bag for 8 months. Like i said, he killed 2 of the intruders, but the one that shot him got away.. He eventually was found and is serving a life sentence for thr crime agianst my ex and some other robberies he was connected to.
My ex was only 18 at the time. His mom and sister were in the house so thankfully he was able to protect the household. But he has horrible PTSD from it now. Its very sad
That is sad
but imagine this. You would have attended a funeral instead had he not been given the right to protect himself!

I think you need a concealed carry to carry around a stun gun as well NOT SURE tho. I live in FL and i think thats how it is here. I always carry pepper spray. I dont have a concealed carry permit yet
And Herbologist...yeah he is very lucky to have made it alive but you're right he would have had no chance if he didn't have a gun. One of thr intruders that he shot had a 9mm and was shooting at him but thankfully missed. The other was unarmed. Unfortunately he was unable to reload before the guy with the shotty blasted him

look @ any scary movie. you'll be asking why NOT have a gun. so you don't have to wait for someone to save you. i hate violence but predators of any kind should not be able to run rampant.

I can only imagine ... I had my house shot up in the middle of the night a year ago. I have my valid suspicions but to this day I don't know who did it and I am always paranoid.
Having my gun at the time did help though. Who knew if they were coming back or not? They still might, you just never know.

Yeah that's freaky. Do you have security cameras? He set them up after the shooting and like i said its 12 years later and i actually visited him earlier this year, we were staying in a hotel on thr 1st floor and he brought and camera put it up in the corner pointing out the window and plugged it into the hotel tv. Lol. Its fucked up but thats just his personality now

Yeah, there is cameras all over the house now. Inside and out, basically a 360 of surveillance.
That is pretty intense, bringing mobile cameras for hotels. But, whatever makes him feel better, right? Almost can't really blame him haha

Yeah it's pretty intense he has his concealed carry and he wont even check the mail without it. It actually got frustrating the years after that we were still dating bcus we couldn't just jump in the car and run to taco bell or to get some cigs without him having it.
But i cant really imagine what he feels like dealing with the fact that he killed 2 pple. His home security was breached, he almost died...he has chronic pain. It's just something he doesn't want to go through agian so he is never unarmed

If you just go by the stats you're more likely to accidentally hurt yourself with a gun then stop a crime. For studious intelligent people the danger is null.

The recent mass shooting rekindled my interest in owning a handgun. I'd rather kill than be killed.

I can understand it being annoying to have to wait for him to go get it. But, the one time he doesn't have it he is probably so anxious and uncomfortable worrying that this could be that "one" time again and he'll get caught unarmed. Idk, im just guessing his state of mind.
When I don't have mine, its like forgetting my wallet. I feel naked and pray nothing goes wrong.

Oh yeah, I'm sure. He left his clip in my glovebox one day i had dropped him off at his grandmas and he called me 5 minutes later freaking out for me to bring it back. I got to shoot some pretty cool guns over the years though. He had a collection at one point of sone older antique guns which was neat

guns are cool and fun. That's pretty much the only reason I would have one. if I lived in some impoverished southern shithole I'd probably want one for protection though. Luckily I don't

Thats fear man, sorry to hear, I can imagine getting your house shot up and you dont know who did it really messed with your head.
We have much less gun violence here than in the US, so here you most likely either end up in a brawl or are mugged with a knife or screwdriver. Given that situation my boots are the first line of defense. Smash their knee so they can't chase you and bail.

same. the last time i owned a handgun was like 2010. I sold my .38 because after a while i felt like it was pointless to have around. the predator that would come into my home because i lived alone that the gun saleman told me about never came so it felt silly after a while. and i really needed 300 bucks @ the time

For some yes, but unfortunately others might feel cool or empowered by having guns, and that is not a good thing at all.

Yep, and having a pool in your back yard increases your risk of drowning.

A friend of mine didn't get mugged because he had a gun. He just pulled his coat back and let them see his gun and they turned around and left.
