What do you do when in doubt?

Interested in what y'all do when you're planning a trip but your mind isn't 100% set on it. When I doubt whether I should trip or not I usually leave it until it's a sure fire in my mind.
So do you tend to leave it to another day or dive right in regardless?

If there's significant enough doubt, I just skip it; my bad trips have turned me off from abusing it - I consider using in doubt as a form of abuse. Glad to hear others think similarly!

I'm never sure whether to call it patience or procrastination. I never like to push myself or rush it. Sooner or later, usually sooner, the day will come anyway.
Sometimes you can't choose though, say you're only at that lovely nature resort for two nights, and don't want to do it on the last night. In that case I say a few prayers and dive in anyway
Love, Hanz.

I usually will still trip even if I'm having some pre-trip jitters/doubts. IME, as soon as I am high on them my attitude is always "why didn't i eat these, and more, waaay sooner?"

I've come to accept the fact that if I'm going to space my trips apart, I'm almost always going to some pre-trip and come-up anxiety. The solution is to be courageous and face your fears, because they almost always amount to nothing.
Of course, you have to have the wisdom to discern between genuine doubt that should make you pause for thought and routine anxiety. Know thyself, and all that.

depends. like the above poster said, the more I space my trips apart the more anxious I get pre trip, the only times I have really gone into a trip without anxiety is when I had a really good trip a week before or something.
you have to try to listen to yourself and evaluate your reasons for tripping. i find that if I am feeling really content not to trip and there are other thigns I want to do, then I dont trip. But if the idea of doing anything else doesn't sound fullfilling and thus the only thing stopping me is fear, I go ahead anyway.
for me, what caused me the most fear/trouble was when I working 5 days a week. that meant the only time i could trip was saturday. so the weekend would roll around and id be tired and just want to rest, but id be anxious/excited about my trip and have a hard time sleeping and saturday would come and i would not want to trip at all and then id get depressed because it meant a whole other week at work before i could have the opportunity to trip again.
i find the best trips are spur of the moment trips, where suddenly the urge comes upon and you are fortunate enough to not have work the next day and you just dose. my hours just got reduced at my job so i am fortunate enogh to have that opportunity this summer.

Just one bad trip can make you never make that mistake again.

usually i trip anyways, and end up miserable. From now on I intend to listen to my gut. It only took a half dozen miserable trips to convince me lol

It took me a handful of rough ones and one really bad one to top it off.

When I first started using psychedelics I was a drug abuser and my only intentions were to get fucked up. This led to a lot of hard trips for me. After growing and working through these trips I have learned a hell of a lot about myself and they grew fewer and farther apart. Psychedelics have taught me the importance of accepting myself and others. I never really have doubts. More just like butterflies because psychs work in mysterious ways. You may just find the answers for questions you didn't even realize you were asking
