follow the PF tek to the T, third link in my signature has the links you need
wrong things
1. no dunk and roll, cakes have no casing of vermiculite 2. no holes in your fruiting chamber, improperly built SGFC 3. some sort of air hose going into the perlite, common noob mistake 4. cakes are sitting on the perlite, follow directions, cakes cannot sit on the perlite directly.
here's what you can expect if you do it right

I recommend you try casing with vermiculite instead. You'll get better results. University degrees don't mean much here as they don't teach about home cubensis cultivation at uni. I doubt they teach much about mushroom growing at all in a biology course apart from sterile technique and agar plates.

1. Good luck with that. Rolling cakes in perlite is wrong, setting then on perlite is wrong 2. Tubs cost 6$ can't afford one then Idk wtf. 3. You think it works. It's not what mushrooms want its what noobs think they want 4. You dun didn't read the directions.

don't care about the life story, just want to see you actually grow mushrooms with your efforts.

right?
but anyways, OP, you are only being told what you need to hear. wouldn't you want someone to tell you if you are doing something wrong? or would you just wanna be left in the dark? some of these things are simple changes you can make with spending 0 extra money. like not rolling in perlite. you had verm to make cakes right then roll in that verm. stuff like that..
or did you just post on here for the sole sake of someone worshiping your actions?

Definetly should lift those cakes up off the perlite. Jar lids, aluminum foil.. these are.what people usually use but if you dont have just use what you can find.
If you dont have verm to roll them in, I suppose some peat would do fine but if you dont have that then just dunk them and skip rolling. Perlite is *not* a suitable casing layer.
Those cakes are gunna need frequent air exchange- without any holes you arent going to get any, certainly not from that hose.
Maybe crack the lid open a little, just be sure to keep up with your misting.
