A family member of mine, an ex-smoker who has now been away from cigs for about 3 or 4 years, and is of the age of almost 75, and has trouble breathing. Much of it, if not all of it, is because she had smoked for long time, at least 40 years. I'm wondering if there's any herbal supplements or anything that can help her breathe better, and, obviously, smoking them is out of the question. She's had to quit work and can barely walk beyond a minute or two because of it, so any help would be

I would imagine she has some type of COPD after all those years of smoking. There are many inhaled medications for just this type of thing. If she hasn't already seen a doctor, she really should consider seeing one.
