Are you asserting that I am using made up statistics?
"you" is being used as a generality, not to mean you specifically

Maybe the fact it's harder to obtain a firearm legally in Canada is the reason the average crook or home invader, and these men in question, didn't have a gun in the first place? And yes, I do think there is a good chance she could have been shot if any of them had guns involved.
maybe, of course we're working on the assumption that they didnt have a gun, other evidence suggests they did such as the fact that they shot the clerks at the Mac's stores, we also need to look at the fact there was also the close proximity of neighbors, likely an apartment since the one neighbor head the scream and poked her head out to check to see if it was her mother that had fallen so in instances like those a gunshot would eliminate their ability to do what they wanted so beating and choking her were the more feasible options

you can see literally thousands of youtube videos...
This, coming from a man who instantly mocks and discredits someone for using YouTube as a source to support a claim or opinion, should it have anything not in line with your beliefs, is beyond amusing
I that holds true for things such as conspiracy theories in which the creator of the nonsense isnt there to debate his claims and the poster typically posts it and refuses to discuss the content of the video. what I posted are news clips of factual events, if you ever notice that when someone posts one of these police shooting videos I take the time to dissect the video and point out what people arent seeing or what they do see and refuse to acknowledge such as the weapon some suspect had or the justification that I see for the event. of course there are some of those videos I cannot see any justification in such as these two in which one the cop did in fact shoot a man in a prone position who was no threat, whether intention or negligent I dont care, it wasnt justified and the video in the link where the cop tased and mistreated a kid very badly with nothing that could be considered provocation

Why would she be glad she did not have a gun when people broke into the house house she was in and beat the shit out of her?
because if she had a gun she couldnt have become another statistic

It's funny how people who have most likely never shot a gun seem to be experts on the subject.
Masked, if the guns for protection logic is flawed, why do police carry guns?

They clearly didn't have a gun according to the video I watched. Do you have more info on the incident in question? She talked about how they threatened to hit her over the head with a hammer...I'm sure they wouldn't be reaching for and using the threat of a hammer had they had a gun to threaten her with
They were hoping to find guns for a reason after all. Because it's not so easy to come across them in Canada. And our gun violence vs yours is a prime indicator that our gun regulations are a positive thing, not a negative one (IMO)

That holds true for things such as conspiracy theories...what I post is news clips of factual events
So someone posts news clips of 9/11, perhaps running in slow mo, to illustrate a point or support an opinion, and you mock, discredit and dump their thread to conspiracy forum. And yet, you are willing to post your own YouTube videos or even entertain and "dissect" other people's video links, as long as the videos and subject at hand match up with your beliefs(in this case...guns)
I'm glad YouTube can be used as a reference/source with you when it comes to gun violence, but it can't be used when talking about Monsanto, government ops or other miscellaneous stuff.
talk about a double standard.
It's nice to see you have some objective and unbiased opinions about some of the horrible evidence out their when it comes to trigger happy cops
For the record, I usually concur with you when you comment on most of them. People on this board love to hate cops, but often, I find justification for most of their actions in all the videos I've seen so far.

I'm sorry but I don't follow. Were these the same men involved in the home invasion the blogger lady talked about? I read the article and could find no reference besides past charges of assault
It seems totally unrelated to me at this moment

it's either that or edmonton has a far more serious gun problem than they let on, maybe everyone hates the Mac's stores and wants to kill the workers
maybe this one can put it together for you a little easier

Please show me the holes in my argument.
From what I have seen so far you:
1. most likely have no training and have never shot a gun yet you seem to know how shit will go down when shtf
2. refute any logic; cognitive dissonance to the extreme
3. Ignore statistics that prove gun control is ineffective at reducing crime
By the way, you didn't answer my question, if guns are no good for defending yourself, why do police have guns?

I'm close to that area
Thanks for the link
Well, I'd agree with you that there is a good chance then that they had guns potentially
I myself have guns. But I am a huge fan of our gun legislation. I don't think legal gun ownership should be easy.

Again, you assume if someone isn't a gun nut, they don't have guns or gun experience
What an ignorant and weak attempt at asserting your feeble arguement and agenda
i carry a very open as unbiased view as made very clear in my use of questions. I share opinions and ask questions
You stammer, put your fingers in your ear and repeatedly yell off "I need me gunz. It's my right"
Now, you want to talk cognitive dissonance? You take the cake buddy

No, I assumed that based on your absurd statements that no one knowledgeable when it comes to firearms would make. Has nothing to do with being a gun nut.
Still haven't answered my question.

I dont think hundreds of millions of people should be punished for the wrong doings of a few thousand, that's like banning marijuana, LSD, etc... because a few people got high and did something stupid

Or maybe they were doing the home invasion to get guns and steal items they can make money off. I think they used what they stole to but some illegal ghost guns.
Not sure where the guns came from so i got no clue for certain.
Just a theory of mine thats all.
