Childhood friend of mine got his shit broke into yesterday. He lives in a somewhat rough area of Dallas. Doesn't deal. Hell the motherfucker doesn't even do drugs.
He got off work and went home and walked into a ransacked home with virtually all of his valuables long gone.
They even took his passport (why I have no idea) and the guy has a overseas trip that was booked already and was supposed to go down a week from now, smh

Where is the stat that shows the number of robberies that were prevented simply by making it known you are armed?

I asked a serious question. luv had a gun pointed at his face. Terrifying, but he wasn't shot. He wasn't killed. That sounds like just about the best outcome you could hope for in that situation. So, how would being armed improved the outcome? I think there's a reasonable chance that drawing a gun would have turned a scary situation into a bloody mess. Please tell me: how would a gun improve the outcome?
