Hello, long time since i post on shroomery, and long time since i upload some cacti pictures.
I usually wait 2 weeks till i water my cacti after i repot them bat i was wandering if i can speed up a litlle and water them on the 10nth day.. Here is summer , we have 2,5 months more of good heat, actually now starting to have some real heat (35 c).I would like to hear any suggestions and experience on that.
The second question is about planting my lophophoras a bit deeper in the mix (some skin inside) i was wandering because i always want to see my lophs like wild ones deeper in there..plus as i can see every year lophs turn some skin and make it tap root..is there a real danger of rot?i did that also on my trichs.
The next days i will post some pics (i already repot them but i think it make sense ether way, plus some cactus pics are always a good idea :P)

10th or fourteenth day? Why not try it and see.

I repotted a bunch recently and they got rained on during the night after. I didn't damage the roots or break up the root ball. they were just fine.

I always break the root ball, i dont use that much fertilizers, so i need new soil every now and then.

Each one of my texts, old and new, recommend that the root ball be kept intact as much as possible and surrounded with fresh compost mix. So I do that, except when I am posting plants, to keep the weight down.

Thats for not stressing the plant?
I will try on my next repot to do both and see the results.
