Kia ora, everyone. First post on here sadly did not have a camera when I found these so heres all the info I have. Would love to have my first trip tonight so fingers crossed
Habitat: Central Auckland, in park with shade, some rotting wood, this was muddy but clay near by. Wet area, about 2-3km from start of harbour. some were growing from ground a few from white coloured wood.
Gills: lite brown, gills close together
Stem: average about 4cm, colour white with blue bruising, prity solid, about 2,3 mm thick.
Cap: about 3cm average, dark brown with darker spot on middle almost black, has a bump, texture is firm.
Spore print color: still in process
Bruising: blue
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Psilocybe subaeruginosa, congratulations Every mushroom in that picture has really prominent blue bruising. Make sure they all bruise similarly - if there are any mushrooms which you're not sure of, post some pictures.

Thank you Matai. I have been lurking around on the nz season thread and have read countless post from you so I feel privilege that you replied and also really appreciate the prompt reply. Once again thanks.

I would say they're P. subaeruginosa as well based on the blue bruising of the mushrooms, particularly around the ridge of the cap in the third photo. Admittedly they do look a little brown in the first two photos, but I think it's just because of how the photo is lit.
It's probably better to wait for a second opinion on these ones. I'm nearly certain, but it's always better to be safe rather than sorry.
