A Legit External Optical Drive?

So I just recently bought an Asus Zenbook (Ultrabook), which does not come with an optical drive. I have to buy one, but every single time I find a good one to buy, it is not compatible with Windows 10, and the ones that say they are, end up not being so (according to reviewer comments).
Can anyone link me to a solid external optical drive that is compatible with Windows 10 and USB 3.0? It would be greatly appreciated as I have this beautiful computer but no means to install programs!

Do you have another computer with a disc drive? You could rip an ISO and mount it on your discless book.

When you say optical drive you just mean an external CD/DVD reader right? I can't imagine any USB CD or DVD drive being incompatible with windows ANY version. Basic CDFS and optical technologies have been built into windows for a long long long time, and as long as you get a USB one there shouldn't be anything funky you have to do.
The only thing I could see being not compatible is the software that might come with the drive. Like dvd burning softtware, etc that gets bundled with the drive. And if that is the case, you dont have to use the software that came with the drive. You can use any burning/authoring software you have or want that works with win 10.
My kids laptops and my GF's laptop were all bought withn the last year and none of them had built in CD/DVD drives either. It helps cust costs and weight. I bought some random $30 generic cd/dvd burner from best buy and it works great for doing installs or putting new software on one of the machines. My DVD drive in my gaming PC ate shit a while back and I never bothered to replace it because thise portable usb cheapy works great.
