Have you ever had a jar with mostly healthy myc but comtamed take.over with just myc?

I mean it happens in substrate outdoors. Ive got a jar that is very healty myc and like 2 grains trich. Is it ever possible for the myc to take over and outgrow the contam?

i may be wrong, but i think i heard someone say once that trich sorta eats myc... not 100% sure, though. but i have also heard before that if it has a contam, it wont go away. even if it looks like the myc is gonna take it over, it will still be there. I have no first hand experience, but i believe i have read this a few times before.

No the contamination will still be there....myc does not eat contaminations or kill them in any way from what I've been told and read

To answer your question, no.
Trich usually stays hidden in the myc untill its exposed to fruiting conditions, when the trich gets fruited and sporulates. So consider yourself lucky you caught the mold wjile its still in the jar instead of spawing it or G2G. Although a couple green kernels in a jar can be somethinh else.. are they at the top? Could be lid faliute. Or penicillum mold , which has very tiny spores and can get thru lids sometimes
