ID Request for shrooms found in South Australia

Habitat: found in lots of bark chips growing around eucalyptus trees and other assorted shrubbery.
Due to inexperience, and some now very dried up mushrooms I'm afraid I don't have any spore prints. Also I am sorry that the pictures are not great. These little guys were found about a week ago and I have since learnt that they shouldn't be picked before they've opened up (sorry). I am fairly confident that these are "psilocybe subaeruginosa" but an expert opinion or two would definitely put my mind at ease.

Yes they are Psilocybe subaeruginosa.
Don't pull them out use scissors, and don't pick the babies, only mature mushrooms. As long as they're all the same they are safe but don't just go pulling mushrooms out in the future. You should let that patch recover now and not just keep picking the patch clean. only pick mature mushrooms.

Ahh thanks for the tips, I didn't know that about not pulling them out so I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time. And yeah shortly after picking them I read that they shouldn't be picked until they had opened up (to allow for the spores to be released for the next generation) so I definitely wont be doing that again.

That's okay you're still learning... Yeah it's not good to pull out every mushroom in a patch. It can disturb the mycelium by causing damage, it will take time to recover and usually not fruit as well. It should be fine, just don't do it again. It's just smarter to cut them with scissors and dont pick the babies. Respect them and they will respect you
