How do they do in monotubs?
And
How do they taste?

Very Tasty - I don't know about mono tubs I've only ever fruited them out of jars because I get lazy and forget to spawn them to bulk. Do you have pioppino spores?

I don't have any but I am intrigued by them. I have read that they fruit well in bags so I assumed monotubs would work well.
I was trying to decide on lions mane or pioppinno, which one tastes better?
Which is more nutritious?

I haven't tried lions mane... It is supposed to taste like lobster! And it is medicinal. Shoot me a PM with your addy I'll send you a pioppino spore print.

They taste like regular old bisporus to me.
I havn't done them in a monotub but my gut feeling is they will do well as they are not picky at all.
They seem to just carry on fruiting for ever too, I probably got 7 or 8 flushes out of a pretty small block, see my avatar.

Lions Mane has a wonderful taste and an even better, more unique texture. I have not tried Pioppini- but I can attest that lions mane is the bee's knees.

Thanks man I appreciate it, once I build my collection back up I will have to return the favor.
And thanks for the replies guys, I've really been looking into edibles lately and this thread helped alot.
