If you somehow live in the Midwest or can make the trip, http://www.starwoodfestival.com July 12th-18th, you can come hear a "devival" (as opposed to revival) rant by the man himself Rev. Ivan Stang, authored the book The Book of The Subgenius and of course if you are old enough you'll remember the commercial on MTV 


This dude can be a handful to hang out with, once he ranted to me for hours about how the enzyte guy (erectile dysfunction dude) was a straight up rip off of Bob Dobbs.  The same day we discovered a miraculous sighting of Jesus on a mud splatter on somebody's tarp (it's a camping festival and a very wild, psychedelic one at that).

He still gives one motherfucking hilarious rant though :smile:

I used to listen to the hour of slack back in the 80's in Dallas Texas every sunday night. I had a couple tapes but lost them, also tripped while listening. Good weird wild stuff! Love it! BOBBY FREE!
