Killer tubs Rico!, trying to bring my PE back as well. Almost lost the culture but have one tub spawned right now and just expanded a bunch of spawn fingers crossed it performs like it did. If so I have it slanted now so now worries.

So it's no surprise, seems like not all the pins are going to get big/abort. But the gulp is awesome! I see one or two are ready for harvest - should I harvest as they come or wait to pull out the whole sub cake and harvest them together? If mushies are in a cluster and you harvest a mature fruit, the others will abort?

Also took some photos of my big tub, while I was tripping, gosh they were just beautiful. Everything about them, while tripping seems like it is telling me to eat more...luckily I didn't, but I have in the past! It must be mushies way of spreading the magic!

In my experience, correlation is not causation. I will pick fruits from clusters that mature quicker, most of the times it has no affect on the cluster, sometimes it does.
I'm assuming you used the same culture for your tub and you gulp. I think the aborting problem is genetics, because there's a lot in your tub too. That's the great part of doing micro bulk side by side, excellent comparison value.
I'd say let those go til tonight and pop that sucker out! Maybe get a good glamour shot for the tek thread

That makes sense to me that it is genetics, and yes they are indeed from the same MS spawn as the tub. I never have gotten this many aborts before, luckily there are still lots of fruits but I didn't feel like I did anything that caused that...There are aborts in each of the grows using this spawn for sure!
I will take it out tonight and take a picture - for the fruit that aren't mature, will I pick them them then?
I did do the bottom watering in the gulp, hopefully they are not too thirsty

They all look pretty healthy to me aside from a few beta genetic traits, the ones that are growing up that is. Nice color on those caps too. It's up to you when you wanna pluck. I think you should let those caps open a little, looks like you'll get a nice, satisfying canopy when they open

Lol, I keep trying to tell people That strain happened to me. I had very little to do with it I got some mushrooms that looked fucked from an unreliable source so I named them myself lol not exactly coming up with a strain.
And I'm good at regurgitating stuff I learned from amu, those guys are the smart ones here. I spent a little bit of time trying to answer questions and kill bad info but it gets boring quick, so to the dedicated members that still do that

4 days post-birth.
Had to rehydrate my perlite because of where my sgfc has to go. Just the way it is. One more set of cakes next Saturday and I'm done with this. My cultures should be ready for monos by then.
Top left is the cake that colonized and condensed after 11 days from spore.
Much love to whomever said to leave them alone for 12h after birthing and rolling. The first day, I misted so the droplets would fall gently onto the cakes. For the most part, 95% of the verm stuck.
Not much to look at, but it's all the cult work I could get done today. It's overly wet from removing the cakes and spraying the piss out of the perlite and mixing it back around & replaced the cakes. I huddled them a bit closer together, too.
All GT taken from spores from pic in my sig.

If those cakes perform like the one in your sig, that will be as good as a mono. If not better.

I hope so. I imagine they'll be one pump chumps again; same temps, same sgfc location, etc. Rehydrate after 4 days, used a tool to poke holes underneath and the sides to prevent clogged holes.
I think I got 6.86 dry or so off them on average. Somewhere close to that. I didn't end up with anything less than 5g per. At least now I'm prepared with culture work and can clone clusters and monsters. I really very much regret not doing that last time, or I wouldn't be fooling around with a sgfc that needs two rehydrations before fruiting begins. That last run, I dunked and tried for a second flush but they weren't having it. If I get similar yields then I know I'm good to toss them and throw the second set in.
