figured i'd share a little pron with you..
i had a bulk tray that was spent, so as usual i took it out to the woods to the usual spent stuff dump site..
so i covered it up with the old shotgun chamber.. there is a massive slug/snail problem here.. like they smell them before they pop up... but anyway my pile gets covered with an old sgfc..
a few days later, i go to toss another spent casing and i find these little guys..
oh boy was i excited... shortly after however..
kept watching...
oh the mushroom gods are gracious!!

Ha nice!
I never bury my spent subs I just toss them behind the shed. theyre not usually spent anyways because I dump my tubs after 2nd flush.
If its not too dry I usually can go back there and pic fruits, and animals will carry pieces of sub and bury them around the yard, Ill find fruits popping up in weird places... its fun

You should let some of those sporulate and break down. Who knows, might just turn that into a patch that keeps giving year after year

If the patch is large enough I think it can survive. I don't know anything about outdoor growing though, especially in the US. I just read about what folks do for outdoor growing.

If you're going to keep feeding a pile substrates you'll keep getting fruits. Next time you're out there throw a quart or two of grains between your sub. Older fruits that are too nasty to ear will just be used as nutrition for future fruits. Check our my sig, stop by outdoor cult and shoot the shit. Those are pretty wicked, good thinking on the slug'n'bug. It's one of the downfalls but they help get it everywhere else on the property.

ive been taking things in small steps since i started back up, dont wanna invest my time into a huge failed grow again..
but im in a new place, so as long as i keep this air clean i hope the future grows end up just as nice but inside haha
