I take pregabalin a few days a week

So far never noticed and WD or addiction issues

I used to get high on lyrica. Like 4ish years ago. Mainly made me feel super out of it, drunk, dizzyish, and a little euphoric.

Tolerance builds super fast, I went through a bottle of like 70 red ones in like 5 days.

Take Gabapentin long enough and you'll get withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it suddenly. You'll be tense and unable to fall asleep easily for around five days. Withdrawal symptoms are milder than opioid withdrawals. Dropping the dose down to one pill a day for a week, then half a pill for a week mitigates the symptoms.

I take 600mg x3/day for pain and get more effect/enjoyment with this sequence:

0 minutes: first pill
45 minutes: second pill (minor effects start around here)
1:30: third pill (effects increase)

45 minutes to an hour after that the effects really kick in and gradually decrease over the next ten hours or so--longer than the 5-6 hours gabapentin is supposed to work for.

It's kind of a glazed, good feeling for the entire time and I encountered no resistance to the effect. Quitting after four years was easy by tapering the dosage.

Gabapentin is a GABA drug. Every GABA drug causes bad withdrawal if used daily.

Any drug with GABA activity should not be used daily , otherwise dependence and withdrawal is inevitable .

Aside from people with seizure problems that can't be managed any other way, daily GABA use is masochistic and self destructive, leading to either lifelong cognitive
Impairment and addiction or hellish , dangerous withdrawal .
