Season coming up...
    #2330649 - 02/13/04 01:56 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Sup everyone. I live in Georgia, near Atlanta and I am new to the board and to hunting mushies, but I have been looking forward to pickin those little treasures for months now. I just wanted to ask some PRO shroomers WHEN IS THE BEST TIME/MONTHS to get started hunting in Georgia??? Also it has been raining for a few days now and the temp was about 30-45's the past 3 or 4 days, but today the sun came out and it is fairly warm outside now, like 45-55 or so, IN FEB!! I figured maybe tonight they would pop out of the cow shiza. Tomarrow I think it is going to rain. Im getting some weed today :tongue2: and would love to have some freshly picked shrooms to go with it this weekend =D. Anyone living near Atlanta and wants to go with me? hehehe, Like I said im new to picking, but want to make it a hobby, so help is appreciated..  :mushroom2:

Those temps are still quite low for cubies. You'll probably not find much for a few months yet.

I dont no if it is just the Cubies that turn blue or all psilocybes... Thanks Ekstaza, Ohh well atleast I got my good old buddy Marijuana.. that dont grow in cow dung does it?? hehe

Nope I dont think they are Weilii, they look alittle different. Later tonight I will scan a picture of one, I have to wait till tonight cuz my mom has to be asleep. She doesnt want me picking wild shrooms, cuz of the dangers, but I WOULD give her some to trip on if she wanted some  lol...

Anyway, I did not think  what you found was weilii, I was just letting you know about weilii.
You being new to the boared and all . I swear this has been lack of unterstanding comunication day. :nut:    I doubt anything will be out for at least two to three more months, but don't let me stop you.

*sigh*
Dude, read the forum rules and guidelines. And the FAQ. It'll be a good month before we see actives in decent numbers, I'm thinking.

Unless you're south of say... I-20, you probably won't have a ton of luck with the cubies. They become more common the further south of Atlanta you go.
