 Efficiently working to the poor house.

Here's my thought:
In our world today some of the key business catch phrases are "stream-line", "re-shuffling" and "employee efficiency". With these catch phrases comes job loss which is understandable at just the business level. The problem is that with the work force shrinking and efficiency growing what will happen to society in general when a minority of people are working on what a majority used to do?. I know this is YEARS away but will there be a greater benefit from the government through tax breaks (or elimination of them entirely)? Or will there be massive amounts of homelessness. unemployment or government sponsored programs?.
I have to admit it but I have no idea what side I think I am on, if there is indeed a side. On one hand their businesses are private and my core beliefs tell me that they have the right to run their businesses as they like and on the other hand what will happen when the people outnumber the jobs? Will government move in for the good or for worse?

I realize that but atleast in the area where i live and the business I work for (automotive)it seems more people are eliminated than there are those being picked up. I guess i'm a little bitter because we had to let a bunch of good people go today.

when we do get to that point..which will be sooner rather than later..then the employment crunch will either be entirely structural..which is what you seem to be suggesting.. or else it might reflect some genuine underlying scarcity...in the latter case..a club-of-rome nitemare or a nuclear war would be unavoidable...nuclear war is much less probable in the structural case..but the club-of-rome solution will still occurr if the neocons in washington continue to get their way...it can only be averted by a globalized grassroots socialist movement...

What is the "Club of Rome solution"? Define "corporate feminism". What does the "employment crunch" will be "entirely structural" mean in English?
Presumably you actually believe the stuff you post here, which implies you have taken the effort to think it through, understand the concepts involved, and have come to your own conclusions rather than merely regurgitating the stuff in brainwashed memorized chunks. If this is the case, can you at least try to put the principles you espouse into your own words?
