But what if I soak it in peroxide, cook it to kill the psilocybin, and then eat it with honey?

I browse through redditt mushroom threads on my phone when at work. Shroomery sucks on mobile and I'm ok with that so reddit kinda fills my myco itch or need for comedy. Have not quite figured out witch yet but I don't feel to hopeful for humanities future most often.
It's like a time machine to 10 year old threads here. PMP teks, incubators, can I eat mycelium from my own feces questions, boiling mushrooms wreaks potency, and just about every sin that gets corrected and debunked here.
Then when someone gives them common sense peer reviewed advise that is obviously from here, they get down voted to oblivion.
I get tempted to post some common sense advise there but I get a bad feeling about that place. Feels like a junior high locker room. Wonder how many of those pics still have the geo tags on em.
I can only imagine what facebook is like.

Wish I had seen this thread before posting some of my questions, specifically about cobweb and fermentation smells. As itâs been mentioned in this thread already, one of the tricky things about this site (as a noob, at least) is the search bar as a function of the site vs the forums. It seems that would alleviate a lot of the redundant questionsâsometimes just searching a bit longer for what youâre looking for helps too. Always seems a person finds what theyâre looking for just after they actually break down and ask for help. Had they spent as much time searching the forums as they wasted searching the site, they may never have needed to ask the question for the thousandth time. Sure, there are threads discussing how to use the search bar, but a lot of new people probably donât understand the way the site works (site vs forum) and just glance at the title of the thread and assume itâs a bunch of griping about how ânoobs donât use the search barâ, and just donât read it; assuming â a search bar is a search bar is a search barâ. Either way, figured this thread could use a bump anyways. My apologies for adding to the vast expanse of noobs that have cluttered this place with their questions, only to discoverâas expectedâthat the answers were already out there, this site just doesnât make it so intuitive to find them.
So...bump

Yeah I was using this site for 1 or 2 years before I finally noticed the "search the forums" button. because its tiny. oughtta be a checkbox or something to distinguish it more from the links below the search bar

Not that I'm the most dedicated but I am an avid reader. At some point you just have to accept what and/or who you are dealing with. Persistence and dedication are what separates people more than anything else in this life.
Never underestimate laziness and people's tendency toward the path of least resistance.
I have several friends who are grade school teachers so I hear about the sad state of education in the US often. One recently told me that almost 1/3 of her students do not read at what is considered normal or acceptable for their grade level.
This is a fun accidental example. Half the people out there are of less than average intelligence!
To explain in more detail, it makes sense for a third of the class to be below normal, and a third to be above normal, with the final third falling in the middle.
