Yeah life's hard. Dealing with emotions, insecurities, anxiety and shit sucks. When you first take opiates it's amazing, because you feel like you can be free from all that, but in the end it's a pipe dream and results in throwing your life away.
What sucks is I had to get way past that point before I was ever ready to stop. I needed to get it beat into my head through years and years of misery. If you have even an inkling you should stop, I would trust it, toughen up, and start building a better life ASAP before you get sucked down by it and throw away the best years of your life, or even throw away your whole life.

Well I passed a test today.
Got a text from one of my old dealers saying he was in queens and I was going to Brooklyn earlier so I had to pass through queens anyway.
I decided not to respond and to delete the message.

Sweet dog money! In time you'll distance yourself so much that you'll forget all about ever even wanting it

My tracks are fading nicely. It's gonna be a special sign when I first notice they are gone entirely.

So I'm calling myself clean. I tapered down to a 1/2tsp and then a bit less than that of kratom this past week or two, which was when things started to get a bit hairy, but now I have been off for over 48 hours and I wouldn't even say I have any withdrawals at all at this point. Maybe a bit of lethargy but I also drank a bit last night
I slept like 10 hours last night, not without waking up and had plenty of crazy dreams, but after a week of being exhausted and getting no more than 2 or 3 hours/night I am so relieved. I didn't get any chills or sweats or vomiting, and the RLS was confined to occasional feelings in my legs at times when I was trying to sleep, not my whole body nonstop for a week. I got a bit of depression and cravings, but nothing extreme.
I can't even say how happy I am about getting off. Took about 7 months since I quit herion, and was by far the easiest kick I have ever had. Not easy, but in my opinion kratom is the maintenance/taper aid that suboxone claims to be. If you're not going to use it like that, sure it could probably be a rough time, but in this case it really saved my sanity, job, and probably my life.

Good luck man. I never really measured grams but it was pretty easy to get low. I also had alot of success dosing 1x/day, as hard as it was getting over having that to fall back on when I needed to have a good night.
I know it's hard man, and I would say don't rush it, because kratom is really alot closer to being clean than being hooked on opiates.

God damn i really wanna cop smack right now.
I was just on the phone with my one friend who still does it and he said he just copped today from my old connect.
Also I have to go into the city on tuesday and thats a place I also go to score or get high.
Did an extra 4g dose of kratom today even though i didnt have to because I figured it would be better than scoring.

I'm shaking, it true
I wanna sniff some blues
smoke my body weight in opium and sleep all afternoon
but I ain't a doped out zombie with a broke down body anymore.
I have meat around my bones.
I can catch a hard on finally. I'm going to live.
I wish I could say the same about sancho but he's got deeper issues than his dope habit if he still can't kick for more than a week.
